Looking at a G37x Sedan with Premium and Sport packages. Dealer has it on sale for 34330 before taxes, is that better than vpp? Or aboue the same? Supoosed to finalize it tomorrow.

I made my first trip to a dealer in Mass hoping to get a 2010 G37X. with premium and Nav.
I had a true car quote on a 2010 for $36,800. Surprise, surprise, when I go to the they didn't have any 2010's with Nav, only 2011's. I didn't have my trade in car with me but the salesman said he thought the 2011 was going to cost roughly $1500 more than the 2010, and that the best financing for a 5 year was 2.9 While these #'s aren't horrible for the 1st pass, I still felt like there was some bs going on.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There was very little official price increase from '10 to '11 so it sounds like the salesman was talking about "street price". If, in fact, he is indicating his pricing for the '11 is only about $1500 that is pretty reasonable IMO. After all, it is a model year newer and unless you keep it for 5+ years you will get most of that back in resale but even then you will get some back for a year newer car. The financing for 5 yrs at 2.9 is not bad either. Usually the best rates are for 36 mos from what I've read.

m6user,
That was my thinking as well. The salesman mentioned that there was less of a dealer incentive for the '11 models which again, makes some sense to me, but I'd still rather not pay much above $36 for the car.
We shall see.

You can probably get a 2011 G37 with Prem + Nav for $35K. I only paid $33K for 2010 Journey sedan with with Prem + Nav.
