This forum is for the Honda Fit, a vehicle that was just introduced in Canada and the US. If you're looking for accessories for your Honda CR-V, you may want to take a look in Honda CR-V Owners: Accessories & Modifications.

Is there a way to install an aftermarket stereo (2din dvd/nav system)? It doesn't look like there would be an easy way to do to it with out a new trim piece.

Honda - Accessories by bamacar

Although I would like to have some of the accessories included, I can't believe anyone with any Honda experience is surprised something like the cargo cover is not included with standard equipment. A $35k Honda Pilot does not come with a cargo cover; do you really think it would be included on a $13-15k Fit? If anything with the Scion being a model, I am surprised more things aren't accessories.

Johnny, I was unsuccessful trying to find Zeta Products website. Would like to buy an armrest for the Fit. Could you put up the URL for Zeta or let us know how to contact them? Thanks.

I mentioned this in another forum, but it's buried in pages of discussions by now.

If you take off the 14 inch wheel covers - you see... The same exact steel wheel that Honda used in its DX/base model Civics in the mid 90s. Yes - the one with the 20 or so small round holes around the edge and as ugly as sin. So ugly, in fact, that it "seeps through" the Fit's plastic cover like it's almost not even there.

I talked to the local dealership's parts department and verified that it uses a standard Civic type bolt pattern and offset. So *any* 14*5.5 inch alloy what will fit a previous generation Civic will work.

Honda currently sells 7 and 10 spoke models that were originally on the late 90s Civics, but that it also kept as an option for the Civic Hybrid.

Part# 08W14-S5D-100A - 10 spoke - looks nice, IMO.
Part# 08W14-S5D-100B - 7 spoke - look interesting.
$169 MSRP, but they actually pay closer to $100 each, so there's a tremendous amount of haggle-room, especially since you're paying MSRP for the car, most likely.(~800 profit margin) Their boss won't fire them for selling you accessories at cost to close the deal - it's just inventory taking up space in the back(and 14" rims aren't fast sellers to be sure). So paying MSRP actually can be an advantage in this sort of situation.

Here is a picture of the Jazz with the 14" 10-spoke wheels.

It also has the body side molding that someone in a different Fit discussion had asked about. Note the side molding is also available in body-colored by Honda Access Europe.

Here is the body-colored side molding:

www.zetaproducts.net/ is the website for the armrest. However, it is not yet released, but will be soon. I used on their's for my xB, and it was quite good. Here is the text of the message they sent me:

John:

We are in the final stages of development. We will have an armrest available. Please keep checking our web site.

Thank you,

Are you planning on making armrests for the new 2007 Honda Fit? If so, I’ll be first in line. Thanks.

Bodyside Molding by moparbad

A nice line for the bodyside molding is from the clear area of the taillight in the rear to the orange in the front headlight housing. This would be just about the level of the turn indicator on the Euro Jazz.
Body color would look unobtrusive.

What accessories? by kagedude

From Honda's gallery it states, With tons of available accessories, your Fit will be a true original.

I counted 16 available accessories but most of them are stuff that could have been standard with the car. Only 5 of them are what you would really call "accessories" which are the alloys, ipod link, leather/aluminum shift know and steering wheel cover.

Anyone know if they are coming out with more and what would it be? Locking gas cap, map light, 2nd key, seat height adjuster, center arm rest, European alloys, body side molding?

What American Honda is offering for the US market Fit is hardly what I would call "tons of accessories".

Honda Access Europe has quite a number of accessories for the Jazz. I might check to see if someplace like College Hills might be able to import. My dealer has already told me they only sell/order products with US part numbers!
