the Thule roof rack I imported from the U.K. for my Honda Fit is working great. it was easy to install & appears to be quite well engineered for fitting on the roof of my Honda 'Fit'. i gave up waiting for Thule in north america to get their act together and am happy that i was able to get the correct roof rack from the U.K. good luck!

Just want to let you know that I ordered the Curt hitch, have had it installed, and now can finally transport my bike! Thanks for the heads up on this. It works great! Now it's time to hit the trails! (with the bike, not the Fit! )

I have drilled holes in the FIT roof and installed Yakima Landing Pads. The bars have a 48" spread for long kayaks. I will in the future install 24" Yakima Tracks under the rear pads in order to stiffen the roof for additional carrying capacity. For now carrying 60 lbs does not seem like a problem as long as I do not go off road! Below is a link to photos:

RackAttack.com was very helpful with advice and parts.

Does anyone have the dimensions for the Honda organizer? I haven't been able to find the dimensions on the College Hills Honda or H and A web sites.
The organizer on Target's web site is pretty small: 15-1/4" x 22-1/2". The one on display in the local Target stores was even smaller, with an insulated center compartment. Neither have the tie-down straps as on the Honda version to attach to the fittings in the Fit's cargo space.

Shneor -- how is your armrest working out? is it stable with just the tape? worth the cost? photo would be great, if not too much trouble. thanks.
